Join iHue internal testing
iHue is building more than one app — like Dash Player and HueAI, with more on the way. Sign up once with your email and we'll keep you in mind whenever a new app opens up for testers. You choose which apps to try, and it only takes a minute.

What happens after you sign up
- We add your email to iHue's internal testing list. We'll usually add you to a specific app's tester list within 24 hours of signing up.
- Come back to the iHue homepage and tap “Get the app” on whichever app interests you — look for the banner marked “Testers only.”
- You'll land on a Google Play page titled “You're invited to test…” Tap Accept invite.
- Next you'll see a page titled “You're a tester for…” — tap Download test app.
- Right after accepting, this can briefly lead to a “not found” error instead of the app page — see below, this is normal. Once it loads, tap Install like any other app.
Seeing a “not found” error right after accepting?
Tapping Download test app immediately after accepting the invite sometimes doesn't show the app yet — this is normal, Google Play just needs a little time to catch up. It looks slightly different depending on where you tapped it:
- In a web browser: a plain page saying “We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server.”
- In the Play Store app (most common, since most people are on their phone): a dark “Item not found” screen with a little satellite icon and a Try again button.
What to do either way: wait anywhere from 10 minutes to about an hour, then go back and tap Download test app (or Try again) once more. No need to redo anything else.
Seeing “App not available” instead?
If the page says “Your account hasn't yet been invited to participate in this app's internal testing program” instead of showing an invite, it's almost always one of these two things:
- Wrong Google account. Check which account is active in the Play Store app on your phone (tap your profile icon, top right) — it needs to match the exact email you signed up with here. Switch accounts if it doesn't.
- Not added yet. We add new sign-ups to an app's tester list within 24 hours. If it's been less than that, just check back a little later.

Common questions
Will I be added to every app automatically?
No. Signing up just puts you on our list. We only add you to a specific app's tester list, and you always choose whether to actually install it.
Will you spam me?
Never. We'll only reach out when there's a new app worth trying.
I signed up with the wrong email — what now?
Just sign up again above with the correct one. There's no limit and no penalty for signing up more than once.
